MOMOはモモ(vo)とレイ(gt)で構成
される二人組の音楽ユニットである。

海外アーティストにも引けを取らない
迫力の声量と抜群の歌唱力をもつモモ。
そこには演歌歌手であった祖母の影響も垣間見れる。
流行に乗らず、自分自身の歌を歌い上げるのが彼女の信念。

そんな彼女はリスナーとしての一面も。
洋楽、邦楽に線を引かずにあらゆる音楽を愛する。
自分の聴きたい音楽のためならば海外に足を伸ばすことも厭わない。

そんなモモの歌声をバックアップするのがジジだ。
MOMOの全ての楽曲を手掛けている。

ときには吠えるように激しく、ときには歌うように優しいギターがモモの声を支える。

そんな2人の共通点は海外での音楽経験。
日本人としての感性と海外で培った感性が混ざり合いMOMOの音楽となる。

複雑なようでシンプル、シンプルなようで複雑なこの世界に生きるあなたへ。

MOMO is a Kyoto based, musical duo created by MOMO (vo.) and JIJI (gt.)
in  Spring 2018.

Having both travelled and lived in England, their experiences there has influenced their music composing and style to produce original and unique songs.

MOMO’s voice is a myriad  of colors, rich with emotion and vibrant flair all her own.
MOMO’s voice is influenced strongly by her grandmother who was an "ENKA" singer. 
This deep influence of older Japanese music is blended with her own love of pop music. 


MOMO’s  passion and curiosity for listening to all types of music reflects in her own distinct style.
Travelling around the world to support the musicians at various concerts and venues she is passionate about, has prepared her to be a globe trotting musician herself. 
She is said to be a walking/talking encyclopedia of musical knowledge.
